What is Levagen®+ Sport?
Levagen®+ Sport is a clinically studied form of palmitoylethanolamide (PEA), which is a fatty acid amide that occurs naturally in the body and is produced as a biological response to inflammation. PEA acts upon the endocannabinoid system, in particular PPARα, GPR55 and CB1 receptors. In this way PEA has similar effects to the compound Cannabidiol (CBD). As CBD supplements contain small traces of THC and other cannabinoids, they are banned by the World Anti-Doping Agency. The fact is CBD presents a risk to professional and competing athletes; Levagen®+ Sport is a well-documented, safe and legal alternative.
