This is a great meal to start the day, and also an excellent post-training high-protein snack. The carbs and protein help the body absorb amino acids more efficiently, fibre is important for a healthy gut, and B vitamins help the body convert food into energy.

Serves 2

Calories per serving: 271

Ingredients

  • 100g porridge oats
  • 300ml milk
  • 100ml water
  • 1 scoop Elite protein powder
  • Berries, maple syrup and crumbled pecans

Method

  1. Add porridge oats, protein powder, water and milk to a pan
  2. Stir thoroughly over a low heat until thick and creamy
  3. Serve with berries, pecans and a drizzle of maple syrup
